Choosing Between Two Offers

How would you guys think about choosing between two offers assuming the firms are similar in prestige? I know culture and exit-opps would be the main factors to consider, however, are there other factors that are worth looking at?

That's an incredibly broad question but I'll throw two factors in:

1) Alumni presence, having more alum at a firm will make it much easier for you to get better staffing, group placements, and a better time in general

2) Group placement- does the firm do m&a in-house? What are your odds of getting into 'good' groups and how is that balanced with your chances of landing in less-desirable groups (e.g. at some banks an analysts can be placed in ecm/dcm which may not be the goal of most when they first wanted to do banking)

To live is to suffer, to survive is to find some meaning in the suffering.
