Citi FEG London

Hi all

I'm looking for some opinions of FEG at Citi in London and exit ops for analysts. Citi has a LevFin group so I've heard that the group would do mostly pitching and have poor PE exit ops. I've also heard that the group does a lot of modelling and has great exit opps. Can anyone shed some light on these conflicting opinions?

levfin - debt comps, cash flow analysis, term sheets, credit memos, some pitching, works on more than just LBOs FEG - pitches to sponsors, updating sponsor portfolio databases, most modeling gets done by industry/M&A groups including comps, not certain where FEG at Citi falls into this

levfin is credit analysis / risk focused - analytical experience would be arguably better FEG is more like a traditional industry group, relationship management, pitching acquisitions, IPOs, sell-sides, etc.

i think it comes down more to the individual regarding exit opps, rock star in FEG vs. dog in levfin

------------ I'm making it up as I go along.
