Anyone know about PE exits from the group? Do they get solid looks at MF/UMM or mostly MM? Also curious about comp, culture, etc. Seeing mostly old info from searches

One of the weaker FIG groups on the street imo. GS, JPM, Bofa, Barclays, MS all outclass it IMO. Not to say that you're doomed for life, if you have a strong profile otherwise and do well in recruiting, you can have a chance at something like KKR FIG fund, but it will be an uphill climb relatively speaking
how about UMM funds?
Tier 1: GS, JPM, MS
Tier 2: Barclays, CS, BofA, Citi - those are all the same in terms of prestige.
You should look at the MDs in each sector (bank / specfin / insurance / AM etc.) and see their credentials.
