Citi London teams compared to other BB

Hi WSO monkeys

I got an offer to join Citi in London.
Which are the best teams in terms of dealflow within the bank?
I saw several articles speaking about Industrials in the US being strong, is that the case for London?
Any views on Power&Utilities?

Thanks!

Thanks Tosen! Given Industrials is one of the biggest teams (ca.70 people) do you think that translates into good deal experience as a junior? I read that if you're in the wrong sub-group it can be an issue?

Also they've hired a ton of UBS bankers in the last year, incl. New head of M&A and co-head of Industrials - seems they're investing in the platform but don't know how much of a positive it is?

To clarify: yes, which sub-group within Industrials matters a lot.

Don't have further insights, just that you need to diligence that area a lot more because indeed it can make or break your experience.

The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be the shepherd.
