Cold calling lists for young commercial real estate brokers...
To all the young commercial real estate brokers out there: how do you go about building cold call lists for both landlords and tenants? Does your company typically have that information (landlord contact info, tenant address, tenant contact info, etc.) or are you required to build your database(s) all on your own? Thanks
CoStar, Sales Genie, and Hoovers are the resources I have used in the past. You do a specific search in their databases and download into excel and then import into your CRM. The biggest challenge with this is that a lot of the info is garbage. You will spend a lot of time calling old numbers, asking for decision makers who have since left the company, etc..
I would love to hear other ideas on this as I'm always looking to improve my database.
