Cold-email tactics: addressee copying in HR - my next steps?
Hey all,
I hope this e-mail finds you well... Just kidding
I sent a cold-email to a high-chair in the boutique IB firm, and the person replied to me AND cc'ed the HR into the discussion. HR wasn't in touch yet. So what should my strategy be now?
Tactical option 1. "Reply all" and say thank you to the addressee + shoot a separate e-mail (under the same thread) to the HR who was cc'ed and intro myself.
Tactical option 2. Reply to addressee separately saying thank you + shoot a separate e-mail (under the same thread) to the HR and intro myself.
Tactical option 3. "Reply all" and thank the addressee + sit on my ass and wait.
Tactical option 4. Shoot a separate e-mail (obviously, under the same thread) to the addressee + sit on my ass and wait.
Thank you very much.

Needs context. Can't answer without knowing where the conversation presently stands. Did you make a request (eg for a coffee or interview) in your original email? Did you get a specific answer?
I would start by not assuming HR being CCed is an indication of anything.
He CCed HR for legal reasons, not because you blew him away with a cold email, it's very common these days due to employment (or lack thereof rather) suits. Especially since you pinged someone higher up.
With that in mind, now you can you word your replies.
