Community for Students?

Would anyone on this website (targeting current students primarily) be interested in a free/paid community focused on investing? Like the community would be people talking back and forth about investing and looking at different articles or talks or how to go about building a pitch and using it in an interview. Just trying to gauge interest and see if people would actually pay for it if it provided enough value.

I wouldn’t pay for it, it had to be something truly worthwhile to pay for. Plus don’t you think there are a lot of resources out there that do what you describe. What would be your edge? Also why would students talk to other students about this? Wouldn’t they want someone with more experience?

For the record, it kinda sounds cool, but a little more detail would be nice.

I think there are some resources out there but I don't think a lot of them are honestly that good. Like I've learned more from talking with people also interested in investing than I ever have through something like WSO or an article on WSJ. There are good podcasts that touch on investing topics, but I feel like some students could learn so much more if they have experience from people with just a bit more experience or even 2 years ahead of them. Like comparing a sophomore with maybe 1 random finance internship and a senior with an AM/HF internship are completely different in terms of investing acumen. Although a college senior isn't as good as a person with much more experience, this dynamic can bridge the gap for many students who are interested in investing but don't know where to begin. Not sure if this helps, but I can expand on this if you want to hear more.

Okay, good points def sounds interesting. Also agreed on the point that actually reaching and talking to people to learn is better than just reading or trying to self study. Are you developing something, if you don’t mind me asking?
