Comp in San Fransisco
Hello All -
Quick, somewhat stupid question for the group. For a lower middle market, post banking tech PE job in SF, is ~$215k a market rate offer (all-cash)? Half base / half bonus.
Just want to make sure I'm negotiating appropriately.

I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.
$200-500M fund size (not AUM), that is market
$500-1B fund size, that is a little bit light
$1B+ fund size, definitely light
Sb'ed. In agreement here.
LMM and MM firms without smaller funds and not a ton of AUM aren't going to pay the figures you see quoted around here for PE salaries. If you get something with a 2 in front of it, that's pretty decent.
Agreed as well. If on the lower range of the first band, might even be above market.
Where are they in their fund? This strikes me as light for a $500+ fund. If they’re gearing up a bigger fund this is 100% a light offer.
If lower than $500 it’s market.
