Complete Non-target Midwest Recent Graduate

All,

I recently graduated in December 2010. I've visited WSO off and on for a few years, however, never used it in its maximum capacity. My job search started in July 2010 and applied to Bulge Brackets, MM, BB, and any buyside jobs I could find. I ended up taking a FT position with the most recent experience listed. Its a PE/VC firm run by a "super-angel" investor, almost more of a family office type of environment with an emphasis on greentech.

My interests/goal is to ultimately work in the HF industry in a value oriented or credit/distressed fund. I'm from a complete non-target, and emailed roughly 100 alumni in the industry with minimal response. Tough to make anything happen without getting a face to face meeting and they were all in NYC. I've also sent out 50-75resumes with no response whatsoever.

What are everyone's thoughts on my resume? I've busted my ass to 1) raise my GPA after a dismal 1st year (
