Confused on Pants

Hey everyone, I'm getting ready for my IBD SA next summer and wanted to do some shopping Black Friday weekend to get some good deals. What I'm extremely confused about is what to do with pants. I have two very nice suits from Bonobos.. one charcoal grey and one navy blue. Both came with a pair of suit pants that match the blazer. Will I be expected to wear my suit pants everyday? Should I buy suit pants from bonobos seperately so it matches the suits I have? Or can I get separate dress pants that don't match my blazer exactly but are similar? How many pants should get me through the summer (including my 2 pairs of suit pants)? If not bonobos, where should I look to get these pants? I'm fairly small (28X30) btw.

Assuming this is NY, then yes, you will be required to wear suit pants everyday and to have jackets on hand (at least at the two BBs I've been at).

I would get a second pair of each navy/charcoal pants, but they don't have to be the same exact RGB code. I had a couple of cheap suits from Men's Warehouse / Joseph A. Bank starting out and supplemented them with similar color Charles Tyrwhitt pants (which fit better anyway as they semi-tailor them for you) and have never heard anyone point out the very slight color difference.

As for separate pants for which you don't have a matching jacket, you can certainly get away with these most days, you just have to be aware of potential meetings which you might need a jacket for. I have a light grey pair that I sometimes wear on Fridays which I don't have a jacket to match.
