Is there a tutorial or training that might help a starting management consultant to learn (and master) PowerPoint really well and be proficient at it once he/she starts? I know that PP is an essential part of a consultant's life, any links or suggestions are welcome!

i didn't know much ppt when i started
however first week of first project
i had to do over 100 charts...
then i became an expert
What 7S said. And your firm will have training courses for Powerpoint, Excel, etc. if you're struggling to pick it up anyway.
remember that ppt is mostly used to convey data and fluffy wording. you don't need to learn how to make cool animations and so on. making hyperlinks is maybe as advance as you need to get, and that's all in the ppt help. but just search google for "powerpoint tutorial" and skim over one that looks good. take a couple of notes, practice a bit, and you're set.
