Contemplating FXCM Internship
I'm a rising junior at a semi-target ultimately looking to land a BB SA position in S&T. I completed a phone interview for an internship at FXCM, the retail brokerage, and have the opportunity to interview in person. Do you think the experience is valuable and will help me land an S&T internship this summer?
Here's the job description.
Primary responsibilities includes (not limited to):
• Research and development for dailyfx.com
• Assist by analyzing information related to the capital markets
• Assisting the Daily FX Team with writing and publishing information for dailyfx.com
• Maintaining a database of market knowledge and world news events
Thanks in advance!
If you can't get anything else, I don't see why not. The activities look relevant. I would try and get something elsewhere first.
FXCM scams its clients. My friend who interviewed there said that FXCM trades against its clients. But in term of internship experience, if you get any other thing else, FXCM is fine.
