Hi all, Just got a PE offer (out of IB) and I was wondering what are the things that can be negotiated / I should look out for? Also do firms pay relocation (flights, moving expenses etc) if moving from US to APAC for example? If so, what is a rough ballpark figure? Offer is for the likes of CPPIB/OMERS/OTTP if that changes anything.

Basically everything is negotiable, but at that level (one step above entry/junior if I’m reading this correctly) the things I would look at: 1) relocation services or bonus - the bigger places will have pretty complete relocation services (moving service, cash for miscellaneous expenses, visa assistance if needed, etc). They will tend to have more services and less cash up front. But this is something I would look for if moving long distance. 2) bonus for any deferred compensation - if you have comp that is tied up in equity or deferred that you will lose, I would try and negotiate that.
