Cornell / MIT MSRED vs Top 10 MBA

Hi guys,

Assuming 6+ years REPE / investments background, have been admitted to top MSRED programs and top 10 MBA programs (Yale SOM, Haas, NYU)

Aiming post masters - REPE role in NYC

Which would you choose and why? MBA because of more optionality? Better brandname from Cornell / MIT MSRED? or MSRED then top MBA (Sloan Fellows / Stanford Msx) down the road?

Thanks

OP here - thanks for your comment

Personally, having been in REPE in asia, I feel that prestige definitely opens doors and provides a leg up in terms of the implicit team's trust in your capabilities, network, fund raising, potential for senior management roles. also looking at the analytical rigor of these programs.

It is definitely possible for me to transit into REPE roles (in asia), but I would like to broaden my exposure into the US market, develop the brand cachet and also to hone my investment skills - though admittedly most of the skills are learnt on job
