Corporate Finance/Strategy jobs with great repuations?

WSO,

Are there any firms that have particularly stellar reputations for their corporate finance or strategy divisions? I know of Disney, but not sure of any others.

Any that have great placements for Bschool, or are just known for being great spots to start out at?

This is one of the most helpful answers I've ever read on here. As someone deeply interested in CF/LevFin, this is EXACTLY what I needed to know. Thank you so much!

A lot of it has to do with what your goals are and if the development programs will give you the opportunity to get to that spot. For me, I chose one DP where I have a bunch of different rotations exposing me to all different aspects of CF. Along with the opportunity to travel and even live overseas. It really depends on what you want and also what you can get.

If you find something that you like. Then I would say LinkedIn is your friend and check out where people from their program have gone....B-school, continual work, pivots, ect.

G-I the pharma guy:
A couple people I know went to do strategy and operations for flag carrier airlines in Europe and they love it; everything from operations optimisation and route selection with competition analysis to aircraft leasing management.

What about UA/AA/DAL or even the smaller US carriers?

Taking this slightly more specific (sorry to hijack the post): What are the best firms (ideally NYC based) for LevFin, or best resources to find them?

Sorry, I'm still a student so I'm learning what divisions are under what categories, etc. On WSO any info on LevFin is under the "Corporate Finance" section, so I figured here would be appropriate. Is that a misunderstanding?
