Corporate & Investment Banking Analyst??
Anybody every see this title before? Is it just a different title that some banks use or is it a completely different job position?
For a coverage group.
Thanks

Is that for Citi?
It is not Citi per se, have seen it for them tho. I was wondering the thought process behind the title. Seems some banks lump both together for their analysts. I have seen examples of this for Mizuho, MUFG, BNP, Credit Agricole, and a few others.
Was wondering if anyone knows the difference, if any.
Fun fact. For Citi, I believe that the name is a vestige from Saloman - the name appears in Liar's poker
Yes, some banks in Canada such as BMO use that too. They almost always have separate corporate banking groups, no idea why they call it that. (This holds for American banks in Canada too, I've seen Citi use it as well)
Some banks will lump them together, and you will also see corporate banking analysts use it to brighten their resume.
