Will an LLM post-MBA get me into Investment Banking in the US?
Hello everyone,
I am a newly minted MBA (1 year out of business school). During my MBA in Europe I did an exchange semester at a partner school in the US and realized that I would like to make a jump to the US. However, I don't have the required work permit and hence, no employer would make me an offer.
My idea now is to do a 1-year LLM with a focus on Banking/M&A.
**From your experience or your encounters with different types of individuals in IB, is this a realistic step? **
In the interest of full disclosure, I have over 6 years of M&A experience under my belt, 13 successfully closed transactions across various industries and in-depth financial modelling know-how.
yes. without a doubt!
Have you seen people doing it in the past?
