Could there be an IB analyst equivalent job in terms of exit opportunities but with a better work/life balance (better hours)

Hey guys,

Pretty much what it says on the tin. I'm asking mostly about London.
Is there no IB analyst equivalent job in terms of exit opportunities but with a better work/life balance (better hours).

I know consulting can lead to an exit into PE but not to a Hedge Fund.

I am already running a business to which I would like to keep contributing time and I would no longer be able to if I begin as an analyst.

Perhaps someone has heard of an ingenious way of having the same exit opportunites as a 2-year analyst but perhaps working less hours and gaining the same experience in 4 years for example?
Could something such as a perpetual part time analyst position be within possibility?

Speaking very hypothetically here and I guess I already know the answer but perhaps someone has heard of a special case.

Thank you
