CRE by accident - time to take control.

Long time reading WSO, time to introduce myself:

I'm a Spanish guy currently working for a real big american CRE firm as a High Street Broker also in Spain.

Previously did a dual degree (business administration+law) in a non target school and as a freshmen worked 18 months for a medium spanish retailer (+800 pos) in the international development dep.

Somehow i felt it was all about units locations, leases etc so when this opportunity came up i took it. After 8 months in this job it's time to reconsider where to go.

About the job feels like some days i really enjoy it - of course when closing deals- Others feels like i've little or none leverage over landlords&tenants (not many exclusivity agreements for high street). I'm also considering that this path may end up in a lack of technikal or analytical skills, wich i consider is common among my coworkers.

On the other hand i could never EVER be on the valuations departament, sitting all day in front of Argus, RICS etc.

The thing is... i dobut if i should aim my next steps towards:
a) This company (great financial results and many opportunities)
b) PERE or REIT
c) A retailer.

I am willing to take an MBA (LSE, LBS, IESE, IE...) and available to live in any country or city on earth.

All insight is more than welcome and ,no matter what. thanks for keeping WSO extremely useful.
