CRE Signing Bonuses
Using a throw away account as to not out myself. I work in Tenant Rep w/a senior partner at a a mid major firm - think Colliers, Newmark, Transwestern, Studley, etc. We arent particularly thrilled w/the firm, and are going to consider other options. Combined production in the neighborhood of $1.5 M over the last 12 months. Anyone on here have an idea as to the kidn of signing bonus we can command? Not sure what the market is and would appreciate any feedback. Thanks in advance.
Don't take my word for it, but I've heard of a few places offering whatever your net pay of 1.5mm was.
Thanks - seen similar estimates as well, a little surprised the numbers aren't higher - I started my career in asset management/brokerage where signing bonuses were closer to 2x trailing 12 month revenue.
Hey man, im still a student but how do you like being a tenant rep broker? I assume you do office? Whats the salary like for 1st year broker (who's on a team)
IF you get a salary, expect less than $40,000. More so than not, you will be on draw ($40,000 or less)
