Credit Analyst or Fund Operations?
I currently work in the back office of a mutual fund - my responsibilities include daily reconciliations, generating performance reports, communications with third parties etc. As I have been actively seeking job opportunities, I
now have two job offers:
1. Credit analyst for a major commodity trading company specializing in the agriculture sector.
The role will be providing a list of no-trading companies to the traders based on credit analysis.
2. Financial Analyst for a small & medium size company - the role will work with accounting and sales in budgeting, forecasting, etc.
I now have to make the decision whether to stay at my current job (no prospect of moving to the front office) doing non-analytical work or move to one of the new companies.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be highly appreciated :)

I feel as though the credit analyst role will open up the most opportunities for you down the line, I would go with that over the financial analyst position.
