Credit Analyst to Top 10 MBA

Been reading this forum for a while but first post here!

Just curious as to what top b-schools tend to think of corporate credit analysts at a BB.

Assuming that with a 3.7 undergrad GPA and ~750 gmat score, would this be a solid resume for a top 10 program?

Thanks!

could be a great story or could be crap, it all depends on what group you're in and what you do. If you're at JPM or BNY in a FIG (mostly banks/broker dealers) group as a credit (risk) analyst you could have a great story with all the FED stuff going on and tri party repo reform (article in bloomberg about it today actually) and you can parlay that as a good story. Plus the deal flow is high at these spots in credit and you do alot of different types of credit and facilities, alot more flexibility. If your coming from some other BB in retail credit or oil/gas and they BB doesn't specialize in it; your not really doing much besides revolvers and term loans - which is pretty boring I think. All depends on what you actually do and how you can turn that into a good story-your stats are strong otherwise.
