To kick things off, I am wondering: How developed is the industry in Asia (compared to the US and Europe for example ). Are products like mortgages, microloans, autoloans, etcetera securitized often like the US? If not, then why? How hot is the industry rn? Where are you currently looking in order to expand your business?

I'll summarize quickly below, but I think you can really benefit from actually speaking to someone at your firm about Asia (seems like these are stab in the dark Qs). How developed is the industry in Asia (compared to the US and Europe for example It's developed in the sense that the market is hot and there are plenty of lending opportunities, but it depends on what segment you want to enter. If you want the US style cookie cutter securitizations then most of them will be in Australia, but it's a smaller and very tight knit market.

If anyone works in or is knowledgeable about the credit structuring industry, I would appreciate some insight. To kick things off, I am wondering:

How developed is the industry in Asia (compared to the US and Europe for example ).
Are products like mortgages, microloans, autoloans, etcetera securitized often like the US? If not, then why?
How hot is the industry rn?
Where are you currently looking in order to expand your business? Further market penetration, new products among existing clients, or new products among new clients?
Can English speakers thrive in Asia or do they need Mandarin?
