Trust me, this is worth a read

So I've been watching the cryptocurrency market like a hawk for the last 5 years ever since my high school acquaintance got busted for buying drugs from Silk Road online with Bitcoin. I cant even imagine how much he would be worth today if he would have hung on to those coins instead of using them for Swat Team bait. He had ~$2,000 worth back then which would be ~$400,000.

Anyway, there's finally a promising and revolutionary development in the world of cryptocurrency and open source distributed ledgers since it has nowhere to go right now.

Blockchain is cute, but it cannot scale, transaction fees are crippling, mining requires high power computers not accessible to the public, and much more. Long story short, blockchain based currencies are a great start, but will not be the finisher. Basically any cryptocurrency you've ever heard of is based on this underlying protocol.

Through my steady research and oversight, I have discovered at its most early phases, a permission-less open source ledger that was built from the ground up by a brilliant team. These guys were frustrated by the impossibility of blockchain being the backbone for IBM's predicted 50 billion connected devices by 2020.

I was waiting to post about this until someone had made a good quality video explaining the solution, so here's the youtube link:

Oh and one more thing, it becomes publicly traded today.

Here's the video link:
