CS Singapore IBD

Hi,

I would be interested in finding out about the basics at CS Singapore. Which groups work out of there? Which markets are covered? How many people approx work there? Do the people have international origins? Do they work together with NYC or only HK? Which groups have contact with NYC which don't? Exit Opps?

Would be nice if somebody that knows some basics could contribute. Thank you.

50% of their dealflow is from Indonesia. They are the best foreign IB for the Indonesian market apparently. CS bankers would travel to Jakarta back on forth for transactions. Mostly equity offering/IPO related deals I think, not so much on M&A. They take in 5~8 interns every summer for IBD, so overall a small office. They do work together with HK but I don't see how they would work together with NY. Buyside exit opps would be Southeast Asian focused PE firms?

Hey CS Singapore is not really known for its IBD, more of it is done in HK (hence interaction with NYC).. CS Singapore is more for PB and AM. Furthermore due to the high currency flow, CS is more focus on FIGG.

Its a relatively small group which is good as you can learn and network more as well.. Reputation and exit opps are still good.. (maybe network so you can go to HK or shanghai?)

good luck
