CV - Bullet points formatting
Hi fellow monkeys,
I will be applying to 2019 summer internships (IBD) in London soon. For my most recent internship I do have a 'sub bullet' line. What do you think about it? I am only using it once in my entire CV, is that a deal breaker or should I change it to a normal bullet point?
Thanks
Pan European Monkey, bummer your thread hasn't had a response yet. Maybe one of these threads could point you in the right direction:
No promises, but sometimes if we mention a user, they will share their wisdom: steven defrancis FdL85 adi1494
You're welcome.
Try the square bullet point for the sub-bullet lines. In addition, give yourself some room to work with so that you don't waste any lines (ex. Pull the indents/spacing of the bullets and align left them right underneath "Summer Intern")
Brilliant never thought of it!
Thanks for the tip as well although my CV isn't yet packed to this point!
You're welcome - you could try this diamond sub-bullet point as well. I think I got this from Mergers & Inquisitions if I remember correctly
The thing I was worries about was the fact that this sub bullet appears only once over my CV, how would you view that?
Actually not sure how to answer that. On one hand it will stand out vs the other text you have, on the other it might not be as aesthetically pleasing.
