Cyberpunk 2077
Anyone planning on picking up the game tomorrow? I’m probably gonna give it a try once it gets closer to the holidays, but it looks like there’s a lot of hype around it.

Yeah I preordered it. Might not get a chance to mess around with it until the weekend though.
The Witcher 3 was fantastic. Hope this is good too.
You can check out some gameplay on Twitch right now, streamers got early access.
Watching on Twitch now mostly. Waiting until the loan market lul over the holidays to jump in, cheers!
I am extremely excited for it. However, I just picked up the next gen consoles and I might wait until the game gets a next gen patch in 2021. I absolutely loved Witcher 1-3 with all the dlcs so I have high hopes for this game. Reviewers so far love it, only apparently it has a few bugs but by the time I play it should be fine.
Ah yes, most definitely the opinion of an MD
You never had a boss who played video games before?
Going to wait until it’s patched then play it next time I’m sick. I love playing RPGs when ill.
You're taking me back to my high school memories man, nothing was better than staying home sick from school and playing games all day
Loved doing that with Skyrim and Fallout back in the day.
I just got the X and contemplating picking this up.
I don’t know what the hell this game is even looking at videos. On one hand it looks cool and will get it and on the other I feel I’ll play it for 10 mins and never play again.
I played last night for a bit. Some performance issues on PC (even with 2080Ti and 9700k) and on the consoles. But overall the game is beautiful - the detail in the characters faces and the skyline is pretty incredible.
It takes some time to get started, probably 90 minutes to get through all of the intro stuff
Sucks to hear about the performance issues, I was hoping my 2060 would last me through a couple more years of games but now who knows when I'll need an upgrade...
I tweaked some settings tonight and managed to get a consistent 90 FPS at 1440p, check out Reddit for performance tips. I think you have a shot
Playing it on Ps4 Pro and performance is ok (framerate dips when driving) but man, the amount of bugs is pretty shocking and can really take you out of the experience.
Might put it down until they patch it up. Would rather experience it the way it was intended.
Damn. That's frustrating.
I haven't had a chance to play it yet, but I also got it for PS4 Pro.
I never played The Witcher 3 on release, but I heard that was a shitshow too until they patched it. Luckily, I trust CDPR to actually care and try to fix the game.
Can't believe there's still bugs after they delayed the game so many damn times
That's my Polish engineering for ya!
I don't have much time to play videogames anymore, but ever since Medieval 2 Total War, I learned to wait at least 6 months before getting the latest hype. Everyone always rushes with broken games. Given the reviews I'm seeing, this is clearly another case.
This brings back great memories playing as Venice. Have you played any of the more recent ones? I got Warhammer II which is pretty good but haven't tried the rest like Rome II, etc.
Italian factions were OP in that game. Especially Venice. Though the Turks late game was top.
I played consistently only Shogun 2 of the relatively recent titles and it's superb. Got Rome 2 years after it came out, still a let down. Warhammer II is also excellent but so detailed that I unfortunately will never have the time to learn properly.
Never really been someone who’s needed to get the hot new titles on release. Figure I’ll wait a bit and wait for release on next gen consoles - plan on getting my hands on a ps5 when i don’t have to pay 1k on ebay for one.
Preordered it for my PS4 - returning it.
Bought this game a couple months back and it’s been absolutely amazing with patch 1.5. Honestly enjoying it even more than Skyrim back in high school or GTA V back in college. It’s incredible
