Dataroom Goodies in PE

Not to hype up the pedestrian, but in banking there's a lot of "fun" stuff that datarooms provide for young bankers. Tickets, breakfasts, drinks, "parties" and the like. For the girls / masochists they'll often send a chick to go spinning with you at 7 in the goddamn morning too. Like yeah occasionally you'll have to suffer through "conversation" with one of the Intralinks or Merrill guys but there's an off chance one of them is actually cool and there's no real downside because free bagels. Drinks are even better because they'll make it a mixer with your bank and like JPM or Citi or whatever: you'll convince yourself there's some theoretical hot blonde you'll talk to at this thing but let's be real, if the other bank even shows at all, the people who come will all be hardos just like your group so sausage it is.

So, not being wistful about all of that, but does this kind of treatment from the datarooms continue when you're a PE associate or nah? I know they give it to banks because hopefully the banks will pick them for their deals, but tbh they end up just going with client preference 80% of the time. Just wanted to see if there's free Dill and Parsley in my future or not.
