Datasets per fund
How many datasets does a typical fund subscribe to? Assuming Quant and systematic strategies will subscribe to more than fundamental l/s equity. And assuming larger aum will license more data than smaller funds.
But is it 50 total datasets? 250? 1,000?
On their website, Millennium says they offer 2000+ datasets with 175k+ daily data files ingested for teams on their platform. They probably have the majority of readily available vendor data.
Two Sigma has started that they pulling in over ten terabytes daily.
Well, this tells us nothing. US equities full fix log is already hundreds Gbs (or even Tbs, have not checked it). Plus worldwide equities. Plus FX, FICC, etc.
That's why it's pubic.
