Dauphine 203 Vs EDHEC Financial Markets Vs ESSEC
Which one would you recommend?
Recently received a conditional offer from EDHEC for the MSc in Financial Markets, asking me to retake the GMAT (I scored 620 and they're asking for a 650). Wouldn't be an issue if I hadn't registered to take the CFA L1 in August 2021. I'm scared that juggling between GMAT revisions, CFA revisions, as well as my uni courseworks might end up being too much.
I have also applied to Master 203 at Dauphine and am currently applying to the MiF at ESSEC.
Which school would you recommend?
Profile:
- Fluent French (mother tongue) & English
- More of a financial markets 'buy side' type of person
- Targeting a career in Asset Management or Research (already did a 12months internship in AM)
EDHEC: already have a conditional offer, close to home (I live in south of France). Could end up being the cheapest
Dauphine 203: I like the program + integration of 2 internships to gain additional work experience
ESSEC: best reputation of the three. Also the most expensive considering tuition + cost of living
PS: I also intend to pay the MSc with my money so cost does have a bit of importance in my choice
Thank you all for your help
Quite frankly, forget about Dauphine and EDHEC. Dauphine is a decent semi target in France, but is weak in London. EDHEC’s is also mostly middle/back office placement. If you can get ESSEC, take it and don’t look back.
Overall, ESSEC >>>>>> Dauphine 203 >=EDHEC
I think Dauphine 203 compares to ESSEC/ESCP in S&T, it's definitively not a decent semi target
bro just check the placement of dauphine 203, gotta say it's quite remarkable in London S&T
