Day dreaming

I always dreamed of getting a cushy job in finance at a large firm, but now being in the job market and working 60-70 hours a week, I am not so sure anymore. I know a guy who ended up starting a bunch of his own businesses, and now this guy is traveling all the time. He’s always posting about how he’s leveraging credit, scaling his businesses, etc. I thought it was a joke like most of those “entrepreneurs” you see out there, but this guy is seriously doing some crazy shit with his businesses, and his travel life is amazing. I mean shit, the guy went skydiving over some Pyramids in Egypt just a few hours ago.

TLDR: Screw finance, who wants to start a business with me and travel somewhere new every week.

yeah I spend a large % of the day day dreaming. especially if i'm near a window. need to sit away from a window.

and especially after lunch. I used to think it was because of carbs. cut carbs out. then I thought it was lack of coffee. no difference. then I thought it was lack of sleep. nada.

today I worked "hard" for the first few hours, and since lunch time (its 8pm now) ive been reading the news, watching YouTube videos, and exercising. im still dabbling back and forth updating some documents in work at the moment, but im also watching football.

hard to get motivated when the work is complete nonsense. will definitely start my own business in the next few years. just collecting acorns until then.

Honestly, always thought of just moving to a nice Caribbean island, buying some rental properties and owning a tiki bar on the beach or something. Just chill lifestyle with little worries.
