D/e Excel Test
I was given an offer post and excel competency test (think JLL, CBRE, CW) With multiple rounds of interviews on the d/e desk. I was surprised to receive the offer snd took that as my Excel test must have sufficed. With that, I am Afraid I may not be up to speed, as I have been working out of propriety models At my previously positions. I understand the fundamentals and basics behind the numbers, but lack efficiency. Any thoughts? Possible trades for resources.
Not sure I'm understanding your concern - is your worry more that you don't understand how to build a model, or that you don't understand the math behind it?
If it's the former, I guarantee you they will still have templates at your new shop. If it's the latter, you should definitely start brushing up. YouTube is a great resource, also highly recommend the Linneman and Geltner/Miller textbooks.
