My Condolences to any forum member who is from Pakistan or some one who was affected by this tragedy. Prime Minister Bhutto was great leader and the most influential woman in the world. She gave her life for Democratic Pakistan. She set a great example to all the women in the emerging markets.

What a load of horse manure! She was a corrupt and opportunistic woman. It was under her regime that the Taliban and the Kashmir insurgency were started. She was single handedly responsible for ethnic cleaning of Hindus from the Kashmir valley. Not to mention that Afghanistan went to hell because of her. All this while she and her husband raked in $1.5 billion from the tax payers and terrorism rackets she was running in neighboring states. Its funny how the same snakes she fed and raised came back to bite her in the ass. That is the sad story of Pakistan. No leader or person in that state should expect any better after voluntarily making itself the fetus factory for global jihad.

No No No she did not give her life for "democracy". If that were the case she would have come back when Musharaff threw Sharif out of the office in 1999. She would not have waited this long. She came back precisely now because this was the only time she could gain power as "elections" would have to be held. She also knew that the wonderful general would not let go of power and hence power sharing would work to the best for both them. She first dumped Sharif for the general and then she dumped the general because the Americans assured her she could win. She was there to loot more. Nothing else. Democracy has always been a sham in that country. It always will be. She was NOT going to be elected. More like placed in the seat. Apparently $1.5 billion is not enough. The only reason why people would like to believe she was democratic is because she was THE US stooge and hence best suited to carry out American foreign policy in that region.
