Debt Fund Analyst Comp NYC/LA

I've taken a look at the master compensation doc, but wanted to get a refreshed take on the current market comp for specifically debt fund analysts in tier one markets like NYC or LA.

Does anyone have any recent data points?  And does anyone know how bonus structure typically works within these types of shops?

It’s all over the place. I can’t say there is an average. Real estate comp hasn’t really gone up much in the last few years. Starting salaries are anywhere from 65k-85k and total comp in your first few years from 95k-110k. The occasional fund mirrors investment banks, but that’s rare and you’ll get worked for it too.
