Declining an offer?
Received my first off-cycle offer for a decent MM fund but not located in one of my preferred cities and more of a B-tier for me in terms of choice. Is there any stigma / implications to declining without another offer in hand? I want to take my shot at oncycle at my dream funds before accepting but not sure if this will burn bridges (with the headhunter especially)
Will burn bridges for the foreseeable future with that headhunter
Bump
I'd try to leverage into another offer first ("interview me quickly because I have another offer")
That's what I'll try to say but nobody seems to know when or have any control over oncycle :(
Are you saying you got an off-cycle offer for Summer 22?
It's an offer for fall of 2021. I want to wait for oncycle which will recruit for 2022 to my knowledge
Think about it from the HH's persepctive whose sole livelihood depends on signing kids to their client... lol
You think they'd take it well?
