For Europe, try LSE or LBS. It will be tough though but you should try. As long as you apply early and have a convincing letter and motivation, you might get an interview. For France, try ESSEC or PSL (Dauphine) which is better than EDHEC. Especially Dauphine for the older generations, there are a lot in Paris (which is good for you long term wise and for promotions).

Good luck!

To be honest, I don't know for US schools.

The question about getting better scores or applying early is a tough one. I think it is better to apply early because they are building their class from November to January. In March, they will have 70% of the class and will hand pick the best candidates (competition will be tougher as there will be less spots and they can prioritise other factors (for instance diversity).

But I think being from Africa will help you on this one. Schools want diversity and candidates from underrepresented groups (especially the US!!).

All the best!
