I assume this is for Frankfurt. Take Citi. Better brand name, better deals. It's not like you are going to enjoy yourself a lot at BNP. Heard it several times that the working hours are min. 9-2am everday

ah nice haha. Do you know anything else about the work at BNP as an intern, such as responsibilities, learning curve, exposure to deals etc.? I don't have offers on the table, just gathering information about the banks of which I couldn't find many reviews online.
how would Barclays rank among those?
citi > barclays > BNP?
It's quite annoying that the time gap between online application, invitation, feedback is so different among all banks. Cause I actually have an offer but other banks are still inviting me to final rounds or even first rounds and of course its impossible to hold on to an offer for too long.

Barclays invited me to an AC next week but I have to sign BNPs offer this week. What would you guys do? I don't wanna risk that BNP says no and in the worst case rescinds the offer.
I am also waiting for a reply from Citi, hopefully tomorrow. The HR from Barclays said that usually banks should extend the offer deadline if you have other ACs to attend.. but in this case I can not trust the opinion from the recruiter of a competing bank.
How would you deal with that situation?

I've been told numerous times to avoid working for the French at all cost
because of the culture?

I would take BNP and renege if needed.
