probably depends on a couple of things:

Are you interested in RX, M&A or Unsure? NYC or Chicago? If M&A or Unsure would try to do PWP NYC. If this is for SA think about where you want to be after graduating, if NYC taking a comparable NYC offer makes more sense so that if you decide to recruit after the SA stint you could do that and won't have to explain why everything on your resume says Chicago.

PWP NYC would be generalist and give you a great experience. Evercore is obviously a fantastic name - RX there is good but I don't think it is as strong as (Laz/HL/BX/MoCo). HL RX is excellent but I think HL RX (NY / LA / London) are the stronger offices - so if interested in RX, see if you can get one of those locations. Shouldn't be too hard to negotiate if this is an SA offer, given your other options.

I would actually knock Citi off the list unless you really want a BB name on your resume. If you want to keep your options broad I would take PWP NYC. If you want RX - try to get HL RX (LA / NY). Alternatively, taking Evercore RX NYC is not a bad choice either.

Good work - these are all great options.

How does Evercore RX compare with Laz/HL/BX? I keep hearing the latter 3 as the most dominant in the restructuring space and league tables seem to reinforce that precept.

Don't know too much about RX since I'm a prospective M&A guy but curious since I've seen a lot of interest in the RX space at my school recently. Hopefully, we are not heading into a downturn or anything soon!

PWP makes the most sense for him - excellent brand, generalist structure, very selective boutique, in NYC

League tables are pretty deceptive - on any of the large BKs all the banks will be involved in some capacity or other. I'm guessing you are talking about comparing in terms of placement? BX RX opps are uncomparable to the other firms but all of the names do well (HL more so if you are in the LA office)
