I would say Deloitte > Accenture = EY = PwC > KPMG for consulting

If you want more precission, I would consider the abovementioned firms in the following order:

Deloitte S&O > PWC Advisory = Accentury MC > EY > KPMG

can you please also rate delloite consulting (not s&o) among these.... i guess it will be then pwc=delloitte=accenture... right?

There is no Deloitte Consulting per se. There is the technology division, then there is their human capital (do not know what it is called specifically) division, and then their strategy division. To put them together and tell you where they stand would be difficult. If you are comparing Deloitte to other strategy houses, I would use S&O as reference as it is the only thing comparable to them.

okay.. after doing some research with some people who were actually from delloite consulting i came up with this:

Delloite consulting is a legal entity per se... it has various arms : technology consulting(IT services, applications etc), human resource, S&O etc.
Further S&O is closer to MC which other consulting firms are into, than the others...

Anyways got my answer... thanks!
