Deloitte AERS Interview prep?
So I have an in-office interview with Deloitte's AERS advisory group. I did one interview with a recruiter and then with a senior manager. Both were very behavioral and easy interviews. I was invited back for an "in-office interview". I am not sure what to expect - is it a super-day sort of setting or more one on one? in either case, will the interview be behavioral or case, maybe a mix?
I have reached out to my former interviewers for guidance, and I hope they will at least tell me the exact logistics. But any other information from someone who has been through these interviews would be helpful.
Note: I would be an experienced hire and Deloitte reached out to me after reading my linkedin.
I interviewed with them for entry-level Analyst for the AERS. Both interviews were strictly behavioral for me. Really nice and welcoming people, but should be more technical/client-focused questions for an experienced hire.
Deloitte AERS - Should I take this interview? (Originally Posted: 10/17/2011)
Hi everyone, I just got offered the chance to schedule a summer internship interview with Deloitte AERS Advisory - Security and Privacy. I just submitted my resume through OCR (my school gets a good amount of recruiting for IT consulting and the like). I have a few problems though.
First, the position specified that they were looking for people that were concentrating/majoring in more tech-related areas (I am concentrating in finance). Idk if I'd get many technical questions to start out, but I feel like I would be destroyed in the interview if I did.
Secondly, I have never really had an interest in consulting. So I'd have no idea how to do cases, and the interview would be in three days. Furthermore, my main interests lie in IB and real estate finance. Obviously this wouldn't be relevant to those interests at all. I'm definitely open to anything, but was planning on doing an MSF if I didn't get the job I wanted.
Any thoughts?
Why would you not take any interview you can get? Even if it is just for practice.
Obviously take it
