I am anticipating an offer to join the Finance practice of Deloitte S&O. I was told during conversations with the recruiter that if I do well there it would be possible to move into the Strategy practice down the road. Additionally, I was told the Strategy practice does not take MBA hires, but instead be everyone hasn't to spend some time in the other practice areas first before making the move internally.

1- Can anyone comment/verify this?

2 - Also I am under the impression that Deloitte Monitor and Deloitte S&O strategy are the same thing.. please corrrct me if I am wrong.

3 - Lastly, I am debating between this (expected) offer and S& FS, so if anyone has an opinion on that, let me know

Hi Silver6, yes, I'm a bot, but I'm also good looking. Hopefully, these threads help you:

No promises, but thought I'd mention a few relevant users that work in the industry: @Aura0505 @OCDconsultant @teodora.ardeleanu

My friend at PwC Deals Advisory (not S& but has some exposure to them) said that the integration between Booz and PwC went terribly and he wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole. Just one guy's view though.
