Pretty entertaining. The Broncos defense is awesome, especially the rookie sensation Von Miller.

Tebow is a glorified running back. He still can't throw passes to save his life, but the broncos defense and special teams have allowed them to get by.

Can't throw a pass to save his life? You sir are crazy.

This is the true story, they have been the best defense the past 8 weeks and they get no love, I hate the broncos but my hat goes off to their Defense.

Denver's PR department is LOVING their Golden boy.

Go find highlights of the Broncos-Vikings game from two weeks ago, every pass except one was right on the money. Plus the coaching staff is trusting him more, he threw it 40 times last game. Pretty telltale signs that the guy is improving as a passer. Don't forget, the lockout robbed him of extra development this offseason, he had a new coach come in, and they traded away his best weapon for a 5th round pick. He creates a ton of extra time in the pocket, giving receivers more chances to get open and really tiring the defense. Not to mention how good his intangibles are. I think he'll become a top-15 QB at the very least, provided he continues to be utilized correctly.

It's ridiculous, the guy is just straight up intangibles... I hate to say that Tebow is the reason the Broncos are winning, but whenever he drives downfield, the opposing team seems to blow coverage, his receivers get distance, sackers seem to miss, FG kickers make ridiculously clutch kicks, etc...

Correlation doesn't imply causation, but it implies some sort of a relationship.... I'm just at a loss for words

Can't imagine the feeling in this Denver Broncos locker room right now.

You know, I think Tebow is a decent enough quarterback, but he doesn't make the team. This game, the defense and Prater made the team. As a Denver fan, he really worries me going forward as a franchise QB. He can throw, but he's not great under pressure, and with our o line how it is, that's a problem. We'll probably be "rebuilding" for the next 3 or so years, so no big deal I guess.

Anyways, Prater's got the biggest dick in Denver this week, props to him.

True, you guys are so far out of hunt for Luck now... from what I've seen though, he's not a bad passer by any means, if anything, he reminds me a lot of Roethlisberger

He does remind me of Roeth a bit, except he doesn't seem nearly as confident with his passing. Another reason I'm really skeptical of this is the McDaniels shit. 6-0 start, and then bust. It's easy to get a boost off a change in the team, it's not easy to keep it going. Here's to hoping...

Tebow is a boss. Although his religion act sort of puts me off.. the kid can win.

I was surprised to hear the whole him being a virgin deal is actually 100% true according to a chick I know who went to school with him

A former QB of a top-tier football program such as Florida is considered to be a virgin if he only bangs ~50 of the campus' best talent each semester.

Haha, I know a few hundred people that went to UF and I've heard from several sources that he isn't a virgin. Caveat, of course, is that people like to talk shit and start rumors so there is no way to tell if this is actually true.

At any rate, he is a vastly superior role model than many other athletes, both professional and collegiate...just look at the Xavier basketball game this week. Bunch of thugs.

As far as his QB skills, at this point, he is mediocre at best. I do think he is a phenomenal athlete so he has substantial potential, but the he just isn't as great as people want to make him seem. Seriously, at what point should we stop being impressed with half a dozen 4th quarter comeback victories and expect this great player to put his team ahead and keep them there?

Don't get me wrong, he contributes greatly to their ability to win, but if that is an acknowledged truth then he must also be contributing to the teams mediocre play for the other 3/4 of the game. Obviously wins are what matter in the NFL so if he is winning the fans will be happy but the executives and the coaches know that this won't last forever and it is no way to build a winning program. Also, we have to point out the Bear's epic choke. This was as much the Bears losing as it was the Broncos winning.

Lastly, I suppose my view is tainted because listening to Tebow grows old after several months. The guy is good, but not great and he can get better...we get it...but I was shocked when I saw a post on my FB NewsFeed that said, "51 yard field goal! Tebow is amazing!!!"...or some shit like that. Really?!? Did Tebow put that ball through the uprights? Maybe I missed that part, lol. Sorry I'm hating.

Regards

I cannot wait until next week when my New England Patriots puts an end to this fraud known as Tim Tebow and his broncos.
So if he loses to one of, if not the, greatest dynasty in the NFL than he's a fraud? Really?

  1. With each game the broncos win, the hype surrounding Tebow gets more intense and delusional. Heck, there was survey done in L.A. last week in which the majority of respondents said Tebow should be the NFL MVP. I mean, really? Give me a break. I hope if the patriots can beat them soundly, people will come to their senses and say, "hey look, tebow is a nice kid and a great athlete. but he's lacking basic passing skills that all elite NFL QB's must possess. he's still a long ways to go." The hype surrounding tebow reminds me of the obama hype in 2008.

  2. Patriots are a shadow of their former self. Their defense is atrocious: no pass rush and a young inexperienced secondary. Offensively, they have a mediocre running game, no deep threat, and are reliant mostly on the young tight ends (who are awesome).

I think a 10 - 3 record for a team you're calling a shadow of its former self is pretty telling.

If you define the MVP as most valuable player to his team, then the 6 - 1 record since Timmy has been the starting QB is telling. Sure, his influence may be more important to the team than his performance but he has, undeniably, had an effect. I know that correlation doesn't necessarily mean causation but there have been no substantive changes in the defense since he became the starter and yet they're playing at an unreal level.

Hate him as much as you want (I'm not a huge fan myself) but you have to admit he's definitely had a very positive effect on the Broncos.

What I think is funny is the media is doing this to Tebow. He is a pretty humble guy. He didn't start this Tebow'ing shit, he isn't the one calling him the second coming or anything else. He is just a dude who prays in public and plays football.

I also love the people who say that God has better thing to do than help Tebow.

1) If you don't believe in God, the above statement means nothing

2) If you DO believe in God, then you have to believe that something that can make a universe can be in a bunch of places. God doesn't have a day planner or appointments

3) Tebow isn't asking God to do shit. He is just calming himself and giving thanks.

Tebow has also been a pretty good citizen, virginity or not. Dude is a good kid with a lot of athletic talent. He is also a brick shit house. 6'2 and 250lbs can do a lot when coupled with a decent arm. I am sure the owner of the Broncos is loving the merchandise revenue and attention the team is getting.
