this might've been covered before here but amstar if they're still around
Denver and Phoenix aren't huge markets and won't have a lot of REPE opportunities. I do personally think Phoenix has a slight edge over Denver though, lots of development projects in Arizona. If you start in one of those and decide you want to change markets, I'd say its possible, but probably not going to be easy going to a bigger or more competitive market vs the other way around.
For Phoenix: Lincoln, Prologis, Liberty Property Trust, VEREIT, The Wolff Company, Alliance Residential, Majestic, Trammell Crow, Eastgroup Properties, Hines, RED Development, Opus, Healthcare Trust of America, First Industrial, Macerich, Mark Taylor, Wood Partners, STORE Capital.
I'm sure there's plenty more that I missed.
There is a pretty thorough Denver list from a few years ago floating around here somewhere
Also a Brookfield backed fund launched in Phoenix earlier this year known as Fundamental Income. Id check them out as well.
