Desirable Characteristics

Whether it be through interviews, or networking, eventually the topic of what are my strengths will pop-up. Now here's my question. What strengths or traits are desirable in Wall street? If the interviewer himself asks you what are your strengths? What sort of answer is he expecting? Persistent? Curious? A leader? What I'm trying to say is that I don't believe an interviewer will give a shit if I say that I am reflective, or caring.

would love to see a @"bankerella" comment here

not on the street, but it's my guess that you should always have a story. something like "I've always been curious, but I never really knew it was a strength until....." or "I've always been anal retentive (don't use that phrase, say detail oriented), and it never came in handy until during my internship I...."

it does no good to say "I'm a hard worker" "I love learning new things" or "I'm a natural leader" if you don't have examples.
