Deutsche Bank CB or Houlihan Corporate Valuation
Need help deciding between DB Corporate Banking in NY and Houlihan Corporate Valuation in Atlanta
Background: Junior, international, semi-target
Comp wise DB is giving more, while HL is more technical and comparable to a big 4 valuation group.
Went through Houlihan's FAS process too.
Imo, this is a hands-down choice for DB Corporate Banking. Not very close & I think most others will suggest the same.
But obviously a huge consideration of yours should be which people/process you enjoyed more.
Could you elaborate more on why DB instead of HL FAS? Seems to me that HL would be really technical and include some modeling practice
FAS is a simple rubber stamp with a predetermined outcome. I think that lacks excitement.
At least in Corporate Banking, you'd get a better understanding of actual process.
Plus, and this is unsubstantiated, but I'd imagine exits are better from DB than transaction advisory. Hope that adds color to what I said before, but I'm just an intern, and I'd take my advice with a grain of salt. I just wasn't too impressed by FAS when I went through the process.
