Deutsche Bank - Reputation? Work environment? Inside scoop?

Hi everyone,

I'm interested in learning more about DB as a place of employment and how competitors/employees/clients perceive it.
Any insights would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

DB's a pretty good place to work - hours will differ depending on the group you're in. They definitely don't work harder than anyone else - Bear gets that honor - their guys are slammed constantly because they're constantly understaffed.

The culture is very laid back and there are, quite literally, no assholes around. Business casual everyday and the senior bankers do a great job of respecting the free time of the young'uns.

Exit opps are as good as anywhere on the street - I know DB kids going to Cerberus, Oak Hill, Apax, the whole shebang.

business casual everyday is peasant-like. it should be business professional mon-thurs, with black tie at client entertainment events and white tie at client entertainment dinners. no one is allowed to hang the jacket at the desk either. you fucking wear that shit.
