Why
Pick DB. People lateral from DB to other BBs and EBs all the time.
Wells. DB is continuing its fall as evident with return rates. Not a safe place
You are literally retarded.
interested
Immediate thought would be DB. People will tell you its still a pretty good firm and has good groups (ie LevFin)
DB and don't even look back. People tend to forget DB is a BB - and is still a world class brand. Can guarantee you DB will open more doors than you realize at the moment if that's where you decide to start your career. So what they haven't had the best few years recently? They're a BB and provides analysts a rock solid experience which is very attractive. Not to mention, they're not going to lose the "BB" title. WF is fine but just not on the same tier as DB
From my buddies still at Wells and those who have left recently it oes not sound like a good place to be right now and it was certainly not the best brand name to begin with
Neither. If youre down to that level just take whichever you can actually land at that point
Ended up turning down my DB offer. Was able to leverage it and got in at a different bank. Didn’t like how they hyped up how well they were doing the whole summer just to cut offers significantly and stated that the bank is moving very cautiously around the pandemic
Congrats on the other offer! Is this for IB? Did you lateral to a BB or EB?
Wells. Culture is great and a lot of internal opportunities
