Dial color for full gold Rolex Day Date? Black vs Silver vs White vs Champagne
I am set to buy a full gold Rolex Day Date 40. Fluted bezel. I am a man.
This will be my dress watch (i.e. not an every day watch, have an old two tone datejust for that and a Cartier 21 Chronoscaph which I use as daily) to be worn on occasions such as a special gala, etc.
The champagne is elegant but a bit tacky, the black one is less tacky but Too contrasting. Hence, I am mostly undecided between silver and white which are a bit boring but more elegant.
Also, I am really uncertain between whether I should get Roman numbers or not.
Let me know your advice and thoughts.
Thank you!
Anyone?
Day date or date just? A gold day date is a nice watch, but something about it screams "old white man". I believe Warren Buffet and the late T Boone Pickens had that watch.
"White man" is a the best look tbh
Day date. I am not asking about the bracelet, I am asking about the dial.
I like white tbh. Champagne is too much and black is kind of prole-y
White or silver?
Please don't buy anything that tacky.
Ok boomer
white 100%. its the cleanest look that you will never get tired of. black and champagne may seem cool today, but after a while you might not be a big fan. silver is nice as well, but for the best color contrast id go with white.
White is cleanest
based and redpilled
