DID I GET THE JOB???

I attended a sophomore summit event for BNY Mellon back in February and had an interview for them last month for a SA position. The interview didn't go as expected and I feel I could have done better. Recently, I received these two emails from the head recruiter:

  • "Thank you for your patience as we continue to work through offers for each candidate who has interviewed during our Sophomore Assessment Days. Decisions have been difficult and have taken slightly longer than projected but please know that if you are receiving this e-mail, you are currently still be considered for the role that you interviewed for. Additionally, the division you interviewed for has not seen any additional candidates outside of this interview process as we are keeping our promise that you will be the first to receive offers before our traditional interviews begin. I aim to get back to you as soon as possible. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me directly."

-"I am happy to share good news! We have begun making offers from the Sophomore Summit Assessment Day Interviews! These offers will be made verbally to the selected candidates this week. You should hear from us no later than Friday as we have started making offers as of yesterday."

Best of luck!!

Could this indicate I will surely get a call and get an offer?? I have been thinking about this non-stop and wanted to get other people's take on it.

Thanks guys!
