Didn't get offer... contact MD anyways?
Hey guys quick question:
I had a AC last month for a graduate role in sales at a BB. I just got the feedback and hr said I did "extremely well" in one of the interviews, good in the other two, so-so in the case presentation but HORRIBLE on the numerical test. Supposedly I was 12th percentile... ya that bad. Is there any point in emailing the MD I interviewed very well with? If so, any suggestions on what to say? Or is the whole thing just dead and I should move on?
Thanks
and say what? it didn't work out, keep your head up and look at the next interview.
nobody's going to want to go to bat for someone in the 12th percentile. What happened there? Did you get stumped somehow or did you run out of time? I think this one's burned and you'll have to learn how to do better on the numerical next time
12th percentile?
Depends on the motives behind contacting the MD. If it's to go to bat for you, no. If it's to thank him for his time, and see if he can offer up any advice, sure why not?
Lulz twelve percent. Ivy league English major... With a legacy in?!
